The Digital Agrifood Summit Expo is an opportunity for producers, researchers and industry to come together and engage with cutting-edge technology in a practical, real-world setting as we work towards growing the agricultural sector to $100 billion by 2030.
Scheduled for day one of the Summit, the Expo is a full-day, farmer-centred event providing insights into the practical usage of a broad range of cutting-edge technologies and data-driven applications for livestock and crop production industries.
Taking place on the 2,000ha Charles Sturt University Global Digital Farm, a commercial scale mixed farming operation, the Expo will combine hands-on demonstrations, an informative presentation program and an extensive trade display to outline how producers can utilise the latest technology and data systems to improve productivity, sustainability and profitability.
TRADE DISPLAYS: A dedicated trade area comprising displays grouped across key subject areas including drones, autonomous vehicles, soils and irrigation, data and software, livestock systems, sustainability and renewables, as well as research development corporations.
LIVE DEMONSTRATIONS: A showcase of agricultural technology at work, with opportunities for attendees to engage and interface directly with market-leading innovative technologies and explore practical implications, the use of data, and how it all comes together in a real-world context.
EXPERT PRESENTATIONS: A curated program of presentations throughout the day will highlight theoretical, technical and practical aspects associated with the application of the diverse range of available technologies and data systems.

We have a strong track record, with a $330m+ portfolio that includes discrete, agile research projects through to major initiatives of national and global significance. Our team, board and network of 80+ project partners span the agrifood, technology, research and government sectors.
We are a university of the land and people of our regions. True to the character of regional Australia we have gumption, we have soul and we collaborate with others. We develop holistic, far-sighted people who help their communities grow and flourish. The Wiradjuri phrase yindyamarra winhanganha means the wisdom of respectfully knowing how to live well in a world worth living in. This phrase represents who we are at Charles Sturt University – our ethos. It comes from traditional Indigenous Australian knowledge, but it also speaks to the mission of universities – to develop and spread wisdom to make the world a better place. Harnessing technology, we thrive as a distributed yet connected community, welcoming and engaging with people across Australia and the world.
The AgriPark is the innovation ecosystem in the heart of the Riverina dedicated to research, curated collaboration and sustainable production. We bring together researchers, industry, government and community to meet the big challenges of regional Australia. It’s where we collaborate, experiment and innovate to make world-changing ideas a reality; where partners share and test ideas, students gain practical skills, and researchers and investors can fast-track both ideation and commercialisation. Our core portfolios are the Global Digital Farm, the Red Meat Innovation Centre, the eXtended Reality Centre and the Vineyard of the Future. And, in line with Charles Sturt University’s commitment to regional Australia, we prioritise partnerships that explore innovations and issues most relevant to regional and rural lives and enhance regional opportunity.
