Chief Knowledge Broker

Dale grew up on a farm at Boort in north central Victoria and completed a Bachelor of Applied Science with CSU in Albury. He has worked in a wide range of roles with government agencies and Landcare/farming systems groups in the agriculture and natural resource management sectors across Southern NSW and Vic with an emphasis on landholder and community engagement, agricultural extension, program management, leadership and developing partnerships.

Dale’s affinity with the region and the rural communities within it and experience working with people to identify and address challenges and opportunities to improve farming, landscape management and community resilience has led Dale to the Chief Knowledge Broker role. This role sees Dale connecting the knowledge broker network throughout southern NSW and ensuring strong stakeholder relationships are developed to deliver interactive and inclusive co-design activities and programs based on identified priorities, strengths, knowledge gaps and innovation potential.
