Senior Technical Officer, Herbicide Resistance
John Broster has over 20 years’ experience as a Research Agronomist at Charles Sturt University based at the Wagga Wagga campus. Over this period he has been involved in numerous research projects in many aspects of agricultural production including being the CSU research leader for the recently completed Food Agility CRC project 'Haystack fire prevention’.
Currently he is the overall project leader for the GRDC project ‘Determining the extent of herbicide resistance in Australian grain cropping’ being responsible for the New South Wales portion of this project whilst also managing the University’s commercial herbicide resistance testing service.
