Dr Joss West is the Chief Operating Officer at Terragen Biotech, an ASX-listed Australian company pioneering live microbial solutions for animal health and agriculture. A veterinarian and experienced agritech executive, Joss graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology / Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2011. She also holds an MBA from Griffith University and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).
At Terragen, Joss leads operations across research and development, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory affairs, with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and commercialisation. Her career spans veterinary practice, corporate leadership, and biotechnology, including previous roles as Clinical Lead with National VetCare.
Drawing on her diverse background in veterinary science, agribusiness, and biotech commercialisation, Joss brings a practical yet strategic perspective to advancing sustainable, science-backed innovations in animal and plant health. She is also actively involved in agriculture, running a pre-export quarantine and livestock enterprise at her property in North-East Victoria.
