Dr Negin Shariati

Dr. Negin Shariati is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Electrical and Data Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and IT, University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. She is also the Director of Women in Engineering at IT (WiEIT) with the Faculty of Engineering and IT, driving positive change in gender equity and diversity in engineering and IT.
Dr. Negin Shariati established the state of the art RF and Communication Technologies (RFCT) facility at UTS in 2018, where she is currently the Co-Director and leads research and development in RF-Electronics, Sustainable Sensing, Low-power Internet of Things, and Energy Harvesting. She is responsible for defining the research direction and strategy of the lab and equipping RFCT with world-class RF design, fabrication and testing facilities.
Since 2018, she has held a joint appointment as a Senior Lecturer at Hokkaido University, externally engaging with research and teaching activities in Japan.
