Tom McMillan is the Managing Director of Bega Valley Eggs, a leading pasture-raised egg producer based in the Bega Valley, NSW. Raised on his family’s dairy farm,Tom’s lifelong connection to agriculture has shaped his deep respect for land stewardship and practical, hands-on farming.

After years working in construction and pursuing semi-professional rugby league and union, Tom returned to farming in 2019 when he and his wife purchased Bega Valley Eggs. Today, he oversees all operations on their Kameruka farm, where they produce premium pasture-raised eggs through regenerative farming practices that prioritise fertility and soil health, rotational grazing, and the integration of natural landscapes and native wildlife with productive farming.

Drawing on his background in construction, Tom has also led the design and innovation of the farm’s large mobile sheds, developing practical solutions to adapt the scale of their infrastructure to the region’s undulating and steeper terrain.

BegaValley Eggs supplies independent retailers and cafés across NSW and Victoria and is recognised for its paddock-to-plate approach and commitment to sustainable, future-focused food production.
