Australia has a unique agrifood story to tell, but it has not yet been fully understood or consistently packaged. Our strengths lie in producing food that is clean, green, safe and trusted, underpinned by world-leading climate-smart farming practices and a reputation for science and innovation. We are a land of abundance, with the capacity to feed many times our own population, yet small enough to be agile, collaborative and responsive to shifting global markets. Australia’s story is also one of proximity and partnership, offering premium products to neighbours who value quality and trust. This session will explore how harnessing these elements—sustainability, provenance, abundance, innovation, technology, reliability and First Nations wisdom - can shape a coherent national narrative, expand new categories, and position Australia as a true food superpower.
