Director, Commercialisation Pathways
Anna is a highly accomplished strategist, negotiator, and intellectual property specialist with a foundation in materials science. She has expanded her expertise across management, law, business, and creative problem-solving. A Harvard Business School alumni, a registered Trade Marks Attorney and one of only a handful of Australians to hold both Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) and Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP) credentials.
Her passion lies in transforming research into products and services that solve meaningful, real-world problems.
At Macquarie University, Anna put the institution on the commercialisation map by significantly increasing deal flow and driving a positive cultural shift around intellectual property and research impact. She led the rollout of several foundational tools and frameworks, including the Research Engagement, Impact and Commercialisation Framework, IP Guiding Principles, Start-up Checklist / Researcher-led Start-up Term Sheet, and the Researcher Impact Canvas.
Anna now serves as the inaugural Director, Commercialisation Pathways at Charles Sturt University, where she supports all faculties and institutes in maximising the impact of their research.
